Summer housing on the Mount Ida Campus is available to all matriculated (current) undergraduate and graduate UMass Amherst students.*

Summer Session housing on the Mount Ida Campus will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis based on preference and space availability. A limited number of singles will be offered based on preference and any identified need.

Students can move in as early as May 28th and can remain on campus until August 26th.
Students must sign up for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Single Room Rate:

Shared Room Rate:
Weekly Rate: $139.75

Double as a Single Rate:
Weekly Rate: $279.50

Students who secure summer housing will be assigned based on their preferences. Summer residents should expect their rooms to be equipped with a bed (mattress and frame), desk and chair, and a dresser. Students must supply their own linens. No pets (including birds, rodents, or insects) are allowed in residence hall rooms. Summer residents are expected to conduct themselves according to University policies as outlined in the Code of Student Conduct.

Students will have access to the Dining Commons, Fitness Center, Wadsworth Library, and Mount Ida Health Services.

Students who submit a Summer Housing Application and cancel their assignment within three weeks of their move in date will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

*Housing eligibility is at the University’s sole discretion. The University will prioritize fully matriculated full-time, and part-time undergraduate students for eligibility to occupy Residence Halls. The University may consider Graduate, UWW or non-degree-seeking students for housing assignments, but is not obligated to do so.
