Registration includes a booth space with one 6 foot table and 2 chairs, two lunch tickets for Monday and Tuesday, two Tuesday breakfast tickets, two Monday social tickets, and one complimentary parking pass valid for the Campus Center Parking Garage. If needed, additional meal tickets and/or parking passes can be purchased day-of at the seminar sign-in desk. During registration you will indicate your top three booth locations; tables will be assigned on a first come first served basis according to your date of registration. NEBOEA encourages exhibitors to participate in raffles by donating a product or service. Donations will be raffled off during lunch on Monday and Tuesday.

Arrival, Set-up and Tear-down
The seminar is being held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center located at 91 Campus Center Way, Amherst MA 01003. Click here to obtain directions from your location. Exhibit spaces will be set up in the Campus Center Auditorium (CCA) and Concourse, located on the 1st floor of the Campus Center, for the duration of Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 8. Exhibitors are welcome to setup on Sunday evening, Monday morning, and/or Tuesday morning. Setup will be available after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday mornings, setup will be available between 7 - 8 a.m. (note booths should be setup by 8 a.m.). Please remember to also stop by the seminar sign-in desk, located right outside of the Campus Center Auditorium, on Monday morning to pick up your seminar materials, parking pass, and meal tickets. Those with booths in the CCA are welcome to leave their booths setup over night as this space will be locked, however we recommend taking any valuables with you. Those on the concourse can tear-down their booth and store items in a nearby meeting room overnight. Booths should be left up and staffed until at least 3 p.m. each day. All booths and associated materials, banners, tablecloths, etc., should be packed up and removed from the exhibit area after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8. Parking
Parking is available for seminar exhibitors in the Campus Center Parking Garage, located at 91 Campus Center Way in Amherst, MA 01003 (garage clearance 7'2"). Click here to obtain directions from your location. Campus Center Way is located off of Commonwealth Avenue, across the street from the Mullins Center. Turn onto Campus Center Way and proceed up the hill to enter the garage. If possible, we recommend parking on Level 2, where there is a flat walkway into the Campus Center. After entering the Campus Center follow the signs to the seminar sign-in desk (located down the escalators on the 1st floor on Monday morning, or on the 8th floor thereafter). Exhibitors will receive one complimentary parking pass for each day at the seminar sign-in desk. If you will have more than one car/exhibitor commuting to campus, you may purchase a second pass at the seminar sign-in desk or at Hotel UMass check-in (if you will be staying at Hotel UMass). Please click the "Travel and Parking" tab above to learn more.

Exhibit Booth Details
A two-day exhibit booth (October 7 - 8) is included with the exhibitor registration package. Below are some important notes related to exhibit booths. Please review and contact us at registration@umass.edu or 413-577-8102 with any questions or concerns. 

- One six-foot table and two chairs will be furnished for each reserved exhibit space.

- Access to a 120V electrical service will be available to exhibitors at their location. Exhibitors must supply their own extension cords and power strips. Extension cords must be 3 wire, grounded cords, minimum 18 gauge, type SJT or SJTW insulation. UMass Conference Services reserves the right to refuse use of any damaged equipment that does not meet these guidelines.

- Exhibitors cannot use existing walls or ceilings for display purposes. All rear walls of each exhibit must be freestanding and no higher than six feet. Sidewalls of the exhibit must be no more than three feet high and should not interfere with the direct visibility of the adjoining exhibits.

- Exhibits must be well planned and should not interfere with the flow of traffic or require relocation of furnishings, rugs and/or paintings.

- Login credentials for wireless internet access will be provided upon arrival.

- Exhibitors should not undertake any credit card processing on the University of Massachusetts network, either wired or wireless.

- UMass Conference Services will not assume responsibility for the safety of any exhibits against damage or loss by theft, fire or other means.

- Exhibits or displays may be shipped, if prepaid, no more than 3 days prior to the scheduled event for storage. To ship materials out after the conclusion of the event, exhibitors should either plan to drop materials off at a UPS, FedEx, or USPS location OR obtain and print out a pre-paid return label that can be affixed to all materials (materials with a prominently affixed pre-paid return label may then be brought to the UMass Campus Center Loading Dock for pick-up). For shipping materials in advance, the shipping address should read as follows:

Shipping Before and After the Seminar
Exhibits or displays may be shipped, if prepaid, so that materials are received no more than 3 days prior to the scheduled event. Materials will then be securely stored until the event date. Please use the shipping address above. If you have questions regarding shipping or the delivery status of your package, please contact us at  registration@umass.edu or 413-577-8102.

At the conclusion of the event, exhibitors are responsible for arranging return shipping of all materials. Exhibitors may drop materials off directly at any  UPSFedEx, or USPS location. Alternatively, exhibitors are welcome to print out a pre-paid return label in advance and then affix the label to materials at the conclusion of the event. All materials with a prominently affixed pre-paid return label may then be brought to the UMass Campus Center Loading Dock (located on the 1st floor of the Campus Center) for pick-up. Please contact your shipping carrier directly for additional details regarding shipping and/or pick-up times. Please note that exhibitors are responsible for packing and unpacking all materials, and also for obtaining all required shipping labels in advance of the conclusion of the event.


Exhibit Booth Setup
Exhibit booths will be setup on the 1st floor of the UMass Campus Center. Booths will be located in the Campus Center Auditorium and 1st Floor Concourse. Please follow the setup schedule below. Note that the Campus Center Auditorium is a secure, lockable space, so exhibitors with a booth in the Auditorium may leave their booths setup overnight (however we recommend taking any valuables with you). The 1st Floor Concourse is an open, public area, so those with a booth on the concourse are encouraged to breakdown their booth at the conclusion of each day and securely store materials in a nearby meeting room overnight.

Sunday, October 6: exhibit booth setup available after 4 p.m. (recommended only for booths in the Campus Center Auditorium).

Monday, October 7: exhibit booth setup available from 7 - 8 a.m. (recommended to leave booth setup and staffed through at least 3 p.m.).

Tuesday, October 8: exhibit booth setup available from 7 - 8 a.m. (recommended to leave booth setup and staffed through at least 3 p.m.). 


Exhibit Booth Tear-down
Exhibit booths will be setup through Tuesday, October 8. Exhibitors should plan to teardown and pack up all booths after 3 p.m. on Tuesday (attendees have a break from 2:30 - 3 p.m., followed by classes until 4:30 p.m.). Exhibit booths will not be setup on Wednesday, so exhibitors should ensure all booths, including all booth materials, banners, table clothes, etc., are packed up and removed sometime after 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.


Requesting Your Exhibit Location
Exhibit booths will be setup on the 1st floor of the UMass Amherst Campus Center: in the Campus Center Auditorium and around the 1st Floor Concourse. During registration, exhibitors will indicate their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice booth location. Tables will be assigned on a first come, first served, basis according to your date of registration. Seminar Location 
The seminar is being held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Murray D. Seminar Sign-in 
Sign-in for registered attendees and for those wishing to register on-site will be held on Monday, October 7, from 7:30 - 11 a.m. on the first floor concourse of the UMass Amherst Campus Center, directly outside the Campus Center Auditorium. The program typically begins with Opening Remarks at 8 a.m. in the Campus Center Auditorium, followed by 8:30 a.m. classes. Those arriving after 11 a.m. on Monday, or any time thereafter (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.), may come to the UMass Conference Services office located in room 819 on the 8th floor of the Campus Center for assistance. Please check back as the program approaches for updates!


Parking 
Parking is available in the Campus Center Parking Garage. For GPS purposes, the garage is located at 91 Campus Center Way, Amherst, MA, 01003. Click here to obtain directions from your location. 

Campus Center Way is off of Commonwealth Avenue, across the street from the Mullins Center. After turning onto Campus Center Way stay to the left to go up the hill. You will see the garage entrance on your right. Take a gate tickets and park. We recommend following the Hotel UMass/Campus Center signs down to park on Level 2, where there is a marked entrance into the Campus Center. Alternatively, you can park on any level and use the Northeast or Southeast Stairwells to gain access to outdoor campus paths that lead down to the Campus Center. The garage clearance is 7' 2".  You will enter on Level 3 and exit on Level 4.

Exhibitors will received 1 complimentary parking pass during registration, take a gate ticket, park, and bring your gate ticket inside with you. When you check-in at the seminar sign-in desk you will be provided with your parking pass and a detailed instruction sheet. As you leave each day, but before you get to your car, you will need to stop at a pay station. Enter your gate ticket in the pay station and, when prompted, scan the QR code on the parking coupon. This will validate your gate ticket at no additional charge. As you drive out of the garage enter your validated gate ticket into the exit kiosk to raise the gate. Repeat each day.

If you are staying at Hotel UMass, take a gate ticket, park, and bring your gate ticket inside with you. You will pick-up your programming materials at the seminar sign-in desk, but you will be able to purchase a discounted parking pass when you check-in at the hotel (available after 3 p.m. on your day of arrival). At hotel check-in give the desk clerk your gate ticket. They will then provide a discounted pass that can be added to your bill, and you will not need to stop at a pay station.

If you are a one-day commuter, take a gate ticket, park, and bring your gate ticket inside with you. At seminar sign-in you will be provided with a parking coupon and a detailed instruction sheet. As you leave, but before you get to your car, you will need to follow the instructions to stop at a pay station and submit payment prior to getting to your car.


Driving to Campus 

FROM THE SOUTH, VIA I-91 NORTH
Take Exit 25 in Northampton: From the exit ramp, stay in the right lane to take the first rotary exit, turning right onto Route 9. Travel approximately 4.5 miles to Route 116 North. Turn left onto 116 and go one mile to the UMass exit. Stay to the right as you exit to merge onto Massachusetts Avenue. Stay in the left lane and take a left at the second intersection onto Commonwealth Avenue (the first set of lights is only a blinking yellow light, take a left at the next set of lights). Stay in the right lane and continue on Commonwealth Avenue until you reach a set of traffic lights. At these lights turn onto Campus Center Way. Stay to the left and travel up the hill - you will see the garage entrance on your right. 

FROM THE NORTH, VIA I-91 SOUTH
Take Exit 36 in Deerfield: At the stop sign at the top of the ramp, turn right (north) onto Routes U.S. 5/10/116, and immediately turn right again at the traffic lights onto Route 116 South. Follow Route 116 South for eight miles to the UMass exit. Turn left at the stop sign onto Massachusetts Avenue. Stay in the left lane and take a left at the second intersection onto Commonwealth Avenue (the first set of lights is only a blinking yellow light, take a left at the next set of lights). Stay in the right lane and continue on Commonwealth Avenue until you reach a set of traffic lights. At these lights turn onto Campus Center Way. Stay to the left and travel up the hill - you will see the garage entrance on your right.

FROM THE NORTH, VIA I-93 SOUTH
Follow I-93 to I-495 South. Follow to Route 2 West. Continue on Route 2 to U.S. 202 South. Follow for about 15 miles to the blinking light at the Pelham exit marked “Route 9 and 116 Amherst.” Turn right and follow for seven miles to Amherst center. Turn right onto North Pleasant Street. Stay on North Pleasant Street (you will need to turn left twice to remain on North Pleasant Street, - follow signs to the UMass Campus). As you enter campus you will come to a set of lights. Stay to the left to turn onto Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts Avenue through campus until you come to a set of lights. At the lights take a right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Continue on Commonwealth Avenue until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn right onto Campus Center Way. Stay to the left and go up the hill. You will see the garage entrance up the hill on your right. 

FROM THE EAST OR WEST, VIA I-90
Travelers have a choice of four routes:

Off Exit 63 (Palmer/Ware): Follow Route 32 South to Palmer; take Route 20 West to Route 181 North into Belchertown, and then Route 9 West to Amherst. Follow signs to UMass.

Off Exit 54 (Ludlow): Follow Route 21 North to U.S. 202 North to Route 9 West to Amherst center. Follow signs to UMass.

Off Exit 49 (Chicopee): Follow Route 33 North to Route 116 North to Amherst center. Turn left at the light onto Route 9 West. Follow signs to UMass.

Off Exit 45 (West Springfield): I-91 North to Exit 19 to Route 9 East to Amherst. Follow signs to UMass.

Hotel UMass
Hotel UMass is located at the heart of campus in the Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center. The convenience of staying at Hotel UMass is unmatched: an elevator ride separates your well appointed room from your exhibitor booth and meals. Rooms are available for seminar attendees at the discounted rate of $189.00 per room, per night (plus applicable fees, currently 6% plus $1.00 per room, per night). We encourage you to make your reservations early: this discounted rate is only available until September 6, 2024, or until the hotel fills. Interested guests must make a reservation directly with the hotel. To complete a reservation, click here to be brought to the New England Building Officials Seminar hotel room reservation page. The default date is the start date of the conference, but you can change the date to your arrival date if different.  Enter the number of nights, the number of guests, and click "Book Now". A new page will load and you will get a list of rooms available for you to select from with the discounted rate already applied. Click "Book Now"  next to your preferred room type to select your room. A new window will open to put in all your information and take your payment. Note reservations are available online only: if you call to complete a reservation you will be directed to book online. Please note: complimentary parking is no longer offered to Hotel UMass guests. Instead, Hotel UMass now offers unrestricted in/out parking to all guests for $6.00 per night (payable at check-in). Garage gate tickets will be validated upon check-in and can be used until 5 p.m. on your date of your departure. If your parking pass is misplaced you will charged an additional $6.00 fee per night to replace it. Additional information will be available upon hotel check-in, available on the 3rd floor of the UMass Campus Center anytime after 3 p.m. on your date of arrival.

Neighboring Hadley has many large chain hotels located a short 5 - 10 minute drive from the UMass Campus on Russell Street/Route 9, including a Holiday Inn, Howard Johnson's, Comfort Inn, and Courtyard Marriott.
