Registration Rates and Polices
Plan A 3-Day Registration: $400.00 (includes all sessions, breakfasts, breaks, lunches, and the social hour).
Plan B 3-Day Registration: $325.00 (includes all sessions, breaks, and the social hour). 
Plan C 1-Day Registration: $200.00 (includes session, breaks, lunch on the day of attendance; social hour not included).

Note: the rates above are for registrations/payments received by September 20, 2024. Registrations/payments received after this date will be assessed an additional $40.00 late fee (see below).

Late Fee Policy and Waivers
All registrations and/or payments received after September 20, 2024, will be assessed a $40.00 late fee. During the online registration process you may select to pay online with a credit or debit card using our secure online gateway, or you may select to mail in a check (including submitting a request for an invoice). If you select to mail a check you must postmark your payment on or before September 20 to avoid being charged the $40.00 late fee. If you are unable to submit/postmark payment on/by September 20 you may avoid the late fee by submitting documentation for a late fee waiver. To receive a late fee waiver, you must provide proof of payment processing to UMass Conference Services by 4 p.m. (EDT) on September 20. Accepted documentation for a late fee waiver include a purchase order, a copy of the check request, warrant and/or check, or a letter from a financial department representative confirming the check amount and estimated delivery date. 

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please submit a written notice of cancellation to us by email (registration@umass.edu). All cancellations received by the close of business on September 27, 2024, will receive a full refund less a $60.00 cancellation-processing fee. Cancellations received after the close of business on September 27, 2024, will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made by phone must be followed with a written confirmation of cancellation by email. On-Campus Lodging at Hotel UMass
Hotel UMass is located at the heart of campus in the Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center. The convenience of staying at Hotel UMass is unmatched - an elevator ride separates your well appointed room from your classes and meals. Rooms are available for seminar attendees at the discounted rate of $189.00 per room, per night (plus applicable fees, currently 6% plus $1.00 per room, per night). We encourage you to make your reservation early: this discounted rate is only available until September 6, 2024, or until the hotel fills!

Parking and Arrival
Parking is available for seminar attendees in the Campus Center Parking Garage, located at 91 Campus Center Way in Amherst, MA 01003 (garage clearance 7'2"). Click here to obtain directions from your location. For those commuting to campus each day, a three day parking pass may be purchased for $25.00 in advance during online registration. For those who select to stay at Hotel UMass, a discounted parking pass can be purchased upon hotel check-in. For those who select to only attend one day, a discounted parking coupon will be available at the seminar sign-in desk. Please click the "Travel and Parking" tab above to learn more.

Sign-in for registered attendees and for those wishing to register on-site is typically held on Monday from 7:30 - 11 a.m. on the first floor concourse of the UMass Campus Center, directly outside of the Campus Center Auditorium. The program typically begins with Opening Remarks at 8 a.m., followed by classes at 8:30 a.m. Those arriving after 11 a.m. on Monday, or any time thereafter, can come to the UMass Conference Services office (Campus Center room 819, 8th floor) between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for assistance.

Seminar Location
The seminar is being held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center located at 91 Campus Center Way, Amherst MA 01003. Click here to obtain turn-by-turn directions from your location. Sessions, exhibitors, and meals will be located on the first floor of the Campus Center in the Auditorium, the Concourse, and a variety of nearby meeting rooms.  


Seminar Sign-in
Sign-in for registered attendees and for those wishing to register on-site will be held on Monday, October 7, from 7:30 - 11 a.m. on the first floor concourse of the UMass Amherst Campus Center, directly outside the Campus Center Auditorium. The program typically begins with Opening Remarks at 8 a.m. in the Campus Center Auditorium, followed by 8:30 a.m. classes. Those arriving after 11 a.m. on Monday, or any time thereafter (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.), may come to the UMass Conference Services office located in room 819 on the 8th floor of the Campus Center for assistance. Please check back as the program approaches for updates!


Parking
Parking is available in the Campus Center Parking Garage. For GPS purposes, the garage is located at 91 Campus Center Way, Amherst, MA, 01003. Click here to obtain directions from your location. 

Campus Center Way is off of Commonwealth Avenue, across the street from the Mullins Center. After turning onto Campus Center Way stay to the left to go up the hill. You will see the garage entrance on your right. Take a gate tickets and park. We recommend following the Hotel UMass/Campus Center signs down to park on Level 2, where there is a marked entrance into the Campus Center. Alternatively, you can park on any level and use the Northeast or Southeast Stairwells to gain access to outdoor campus paths that lead down to the Campus Center. The garage clearance is 7' 2".  You will enter on Level 3 and exit on Level 4.

If you pre-purchase a parking pass during registration, take a gate ticket, park, and bring your gate ticket inside with you. When you check-in at the seminar sign-in desk you will be provided with your parking pass and a detailed instruction sheet. As you leave each day, but before you get to your car, you will need to stop at a pay station. Enter your gate ticket in the pay station and, when prompted, scan the QR code on the parking coupon. This will validate your gate ticket at no additional charge. As you drive out of the garage enter your validated gate ticket into the exit kiosk to raise the gate. Repeat each day.

If you are staying at Hotel UMass, take a gate ticket, park, and bring your gate ticket inside with you. You will pick-up your programming materials at the seminar sign-in desk, but you will be able to purchase a discounted parking pass when you check-in at the hotel (available after 3 p.m. on your day of arrival). At hotel check-in give the desk clerk your gate ticket. They will then provide a discounted pass that can be added to your bill, and you will not need to stop at a pay station.

If you are a one-day commuter, take a gate ticket, park, and bring your gate ticket inside with you. At seminar sign-in you will be provided with a discount parking coupon and a detailed instruction sheet. As you leave, but before you get to your car, you will need to follow the instructions to stop at a pay station and submit payment prior to getting to your car.


Driving to Campus

FROM THE SOUTH, VIA I-91 NORTH
Take Exit 25 in Northampton: From the exit ramp, stay in the right lane to take the first rotary exit, turning right onto Route 9. Travel approximately 4.5 miles to Route 116 North. Turn left onto 116 and go one mile to the UMass exit. Stay to the right as you exit to merge onto Massachusetts Avenue. Stay in the left lane and take a left at the second intersection onto Commonwealth Avenue (the first set of lights is only a blinking yellow light, take a left at the next set of lights). Stay in the right lane and continue on Commonwealth Avenue until you reach a set of traffic lights. At these lights turn onto Campus Center Way. Stay to the left and travel up the hill - you will see the garage entrance on your right. 

FROM THE NORTH, VIA I-91 SOUTH
Take Exit 36 in Deerfield: At the stop sign at the top of the ramp, turn right (north) onto Routes U.S. 5/10/116, and immediately turn right again at the traffic lights onto Route 116 South. Follow Route 116 South for eight miles to the UMass exit. Turn left at the stop sign onto Massachusetts Avenue. Stay in the left lane and take a left at the second intersection onto Commonwealth Avenue (the first set of lights is only a blinking yellow light, take a left at the next set of lights). Stay in the right lane and continue on Commonwealth Avenue until you reach a set of traffic lights. At these lights turn onto Campus Center Way. Stay to the left and travel up the hill - you will see the garage entrance on your right.

FROM THE NORTH, VIA I-93 SOUTH
Follow I-93 to I-495 South. Follow to Route 2 West. Continue on Route 2 to U.S. 202 South. Follow for about 15 miles to the blinking light at the Pelham exit marked “Route 9 and 116 Amherst.” Turn right and follow for seven miles to Amherst center. Turn right onto North Pleasant Street. Stay on North Pleasant Street (you will need to turn left twice to remain on North Pleasant Street, - follow signs to the UMass Campus). As you enter campus you will come to a set of lights. Stay to the left to turn onto Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts Avenue through campus until you come to a set of lights. At the lights take a right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Continue on Commonwealth Avenue until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn right onto Campus Center Way. Stay to the left and go up the hill. You will see the garage entrance up the hill on your right. 

FROM THE EAST OR WEST, VIA I-90
Travelers have a choice of four routes:
Off Exit 63 (Palmer/Ware): Follow Route 32 South to Palmer; take Route 20 West to Route 181 North into Belchertown, and then Route 9 West to Amherst. Follow signs to UMass.
Off Exit 54 (Ludlow): Follow Route 21 North to U.S. 202 North to Route 9 West to Amherst center. Follow signs to UMass.
Off Exit 49 (Chicopee): Follow Route 33 North to Route 116 North to Amherst center. Turn left at the light onto Route 9 West. Follow signs to UMass.
Off Exit 45 (West Springfield): I-91 North to Exit 19 to Route 9 East to Amherst. Follow signs to UMass.
