New Parking Procedures

The UMass Campus Center Parking Garage has gone gateless. Instead of paying for parking when you leave, you will need to pay as soon as you arrive. Plan to give yourself some extra time so that you can take care of parking before you check into the conference. You have 20 minutes starting when you enter the garage to pay for your parking before you’re in violation.
The #1 most important thing you need is your license plate number.

If you are staying at Hotel UMass, please go directly to the hotel front desk (3rd floor) once you park – be sure to bring your license plate information. While you can’t yet check into your hotel room until after 3 pm, the hotel staff will enter your license plate details into the parking database. This will take care of your parking for the duration of your stay.
You will be able to drive in and out of the garage without doing anything further through the day you check out.

If you pre-paid for parking during registration
, you will be provided with a special parking QR code.  You will need your license plate number to register your vehicle in the parking system. More information will be provided later this week.

If you are commuting to campus and did not purchase a parking pass
, you need to pre-pay for the amount of time you plan to stay in the garage that day as soon as you’ve parked. You will be provided a special NEBOAE discount code to receive 50% off your stay in the garage. While you can pay for parking either at a physical garage kiosk or via the ParkMobile app, the discount code can only be used in person at a kiosk. Discount codes are not valid on ParkMobile. If you use the discount code, you must pay using a credit card. If you would like a receipt, you must select ‘Yes’ when prompted by the kiosk at the time of the transaction. Parking Services is unable to generate receipts after the fact. The kiosk will ask if you’d like to enter your cell phone number to get alerts when your time is running out. If you choose to enter your number, you’ll also be able to extend your time on your phone without going back to a kiosk in the garage. You will need to go to a kiosk to pre-pay each time you enter the garage.
