Donations to the FORAMS 2026 symposium allows for reduced participant costs, importantly, those for early career scientists (students, postdocs, pre-tenure faculty) who may have limited funds related to professional development opportunities. We welcome any contribution to the symposium, every bit helps! With any donation amount, we will proudly display your logo on the FORAMS 2026 website. 

FORAMS 2026 Symposium will be held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, June 21 - 26, 2026. 


Donation Levels
Below are donation tiers and examples of how your contribution can help with certain aspects of the symposium: 
 
Diamond Level: $5,000 - $15,000*
Diamond level donations will cover in full the icebreaker event for attendees and social events, including transportation (e.g., bus rentals) for field trips and/or social events.

Gold Level:
$2,000 - $5,000*

Gold level donations will offset the costs of the icebreaker event, will help fund the poster session (poster board rentals, pickup and delivery fees), and will support creation of participant takeaways (i.e., symposium swag).

Silver Level:
$500 - $2,000*
Silver level donations will offset the costs of twice daily coffee breaks, poster session support, program printing costs, and field trip support. 

Platinum Level:
any amount - $500*
Platinum level donations will offset the costs of all of the above-mentioned activities and miscellaneous expenses.
*all payments are subject to a 3% transaction fee.

Payment Options

Donors can submit payment via our secure payment gateway during the online registration process. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit or debit cards. If you wish to provide card information over the phone first complete your online registration and then contact UMass Conference Services at 413-577-8102 (open Monday - Friday, 8AM to 4PM ET). We also accept check, internal authorization form (IAF) and/or wire transfer payments. When you check out you can indicate which form of payment you wish to use and follow the instructions on how to submit those payments. If you need an invoice sent to facilitate payment, please complete your registration online and then email an invoice request to registration@umass.edu
