Welcome to the WEBS Spring Knitting Retreat! We are happy to have you join us this Spring to celebrate yarn, take some great classes, and enjoy food, friends, and our beautiful Pioneer Valley. You’ll find registration information below.
Your registration fee covers all your meals from Thursday’s Welcome Dinner through Sunday's breakfast with Keynote Speaker Patty Lyons, two full days of classes on Friday and Saturday, and transportation to WEBS for an after-hours shopping spree with owners Steve and Kathy Elkins. There will be late-night knitting get-togethers with snacks, desserts, and cocktails, plenty of time to meet up with friends or make new knitting buddies, creative meals, and lots of yarn to see, feel, and buy. Registration is limited to 120 people.
Retreat Registration & Lodging at Hotel UMass
Private (Single) Room Package: $1499.00* per person
Shared (Double) Room Package: $1,309.00* per person
* pricing includes food, classes and three nights lodging at Hotel UMass (checking-in Thursday, April 30, and checking-out Sunday, May 3).
Please note that package pricing reflects the occupancy of the room and not the room type. Room types vary based on availability. Those who register for a private (single) room package will be in
a room all by themselves without another retreat attendee, but the exact room type will vary and could be a room with one queen bed, one full bed, one king bed or two double beds (based on
availability). Those who register for a shared (double) room package will be in a room with another retreat attendee (separate registration required). All shared (double) room package guests
will be placed in a room with two full beds. Note there is a limited amount of Private (Single) Room Packages and this option will likely fill before the total capacity for the retreat is met: if/when space
fills in a Private (Single) Room Package you will instead be able to select the Shared (Double) Room Package, and/or may select to add yourself to the waitlist for the Single (Private) Room Package.
Deposit & Payment Policy: A minimum non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to secure your registration. All remaining fees must be paid in full by the close of business (5 p.m. EST) on March 16, 2020. Any registration not paid in full by 5 p.m. EST on March 16, 2020, will be canceled and the $100.00 deposit will be retained.
For cancellations received more than 30 days from the start date of the retreat (prior to March 31): a full refund will be processed less the non-refundable $100.00 deposit
For cancellations received less than 30 days from the start date of the retreat (after March 31): a full refund will be processed less a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the retreat package + $60.00
For cancellation received less than 14 days before the start date of the retreat (after April 16): no refund will be issued
All cancellations must be sent in writing to the UMass Conference Services Registration Office by email ( firstname.lastname@example.org) or fax (413-577-8130). No registration will be canceled and no credit will be issued unless a written confirmation is provided.
How to Register
Step 1: Register for the Retreat
To complete your registration click the Register Now button above. Registration is only accepted online and will open to the general public at 12 p.m. EST on Thursday, January 16. A minimum $100.00 deposit, payable online by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, is required to complete your registration. You may pay the $100.00 deposit, your full balance due or any amount in between. If you do not pay in full during your initial registration, you may return to this page to submit additional payments by card, or follow the instructions contained in your registration confirmation email to pay by check or by phone. All registrations must be paid in full by the close of business (5 p.m. EST) on March 16, 2020. Any registration not paid in full by this date will be canceled and the $100.00 deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Registration is limited to 120 attendees and is expected to fill fast, so early registration is strongly encouraged. To expedite your registration we recommend each attendee registers themselves using their own account: registering multiple people may mean that capacity is reached before you can finish registering yourself and all of your friends. If capacity has been met by the time you try to register, you will automatically be prompted to add yourself to the waitlist using this online form. For many previous retreats 50+ people were ultimately added in from the waitlist, so it is in your best interest to place yourself on it! Interested attendees will be moved off of the waitlist if registered guests cancel, and will be moved off of the waitlist on a first come, first served, basis, depending on the date and time the initial waitlist request was received. Those added to the waitlist will be contacted by phone and email if a space opens.
Step 2: Submit Your Class Preferences
On Wednesday, February 12, registered attendees will be able to sign up for classes by returning to this page, logging back in, and entering the first and second class choices for both Friday and Saturday.
